Game premise and playstyle

Divine Ascendancy is a god-game and civilization builder for PC where you choose from five gods of Olympus to lead a mortal civilization from its beginnings to divinity. You manage a settlement by shaping it from above, directing your followers in their work, building, and fighting. Your decisions as a deity are crucial, as you can intervene with miracles that affect your civilization's growth and defense.

Settlement management

In the game, villagers take on six distinct work roles, contributing to resource generation and settlement development. You manage a faith economy that grows alongside the population. Trader caravans provide resources, and the game features renewable resources and emergent road systems, where paths are created based on villager movement rather than manual placement. The game includes 21 building types that evolve through 14 visual tiers across four historical ages: Neolithic, Chalcolithic, Bronze, and Early Iron.
