Disk Defragmenter

Defragmenting a disk

Disk Defragmenter is a Windows 98-inspired incremental game for PC. You clear virtual disks by moving the mouse: wherever the read head passes, fragments move back into place. The disk shifts from scattered blocks to neat bands of color as its fragmentation falls from 37% to 0%.

Each block that snaps into place earns space. Completing a file lights up its band and cools down the drive. You don't need to hold a button while sweeping, and the game is designed for mouse-only play.
