Desk Quest: Idle Taskbar RPG is an idle action RPG for PC, set in a world that ended for reasons no one remembers. It runs in a thin, full-width strip above the Windows taskbar, where an adventurer walks, fights monsters and collects loot automatically while you work. The game keeps going when it’s tucked into the tray, and time spent with it closed earns offline rewards.

Work Mode quiets the sound and effects for meetings. Each adventurer has a different face, talents and temperament. At roadside altars, campfires and strangers’ graves, you can make decisions or let the adventurer’s nature decide. An adventurer who has walked far enough can retire; those who fall are recorded in the Archive with a portrait, story and time spent on the road.
