A developer-themed action roguelite

Deploy or Die is a 2D action roguelite that casts software development as a survival run. You pick a class, environment, difficulty, and seven-character seed, then push through five pipeline stages. Each stage has a procedurally generated scrolling map with enemy packs, ground loot, and an exit portal, followed by a boss. A run ends in a failed build if you die, or a production release if you win.

Runs and disasters

Maps sit on a branch graph inspired by git history. The seed lets you replay the same run. Each environment adds its own rules, and victories unlock the next one. During a run, a Memory Leak makes RAM climb the longer you stay on a map, progressing from Nominal through GC Pressure and Swap to OOM Killer. You’ll need to reach the exit before it catches up.
