Game premise and setting

Deeplords is a tactical RPG set in a world where a fallen god has crashed into the ocean, causing mutations among aquatic life. You play as a character exploring the depths of this corrupted ocean, uncovering the truth behind the deity's fall. Players encounter hostile environments, navigating through five distinct biomes: infected swamps, frozen expanses, and eerie bodies of water with gigantic bone shards.

Combat mechanics

Combat in the game is turn-based and relies heavily on a dice-based system. Instead of random encounters, you spot enemy shadows and cast your harpoon to engage in battle. Each successful hook triggers a dice roll that influences the combat's outcome, introducing a layer of strategy before the actual fight begins.
