Deckbound

A card-based dungeon crawler

Deckbound is a real-time card-combat game for PC, set in a world ruled by Vorthax, the Demon Lord. You set out to defeat him with a deck of cards: attacks, shields, summons, dashes and fireballs all come from your hand, rather than from separate spells or skills.

Aiming in real time

Combat isn’t turn-based. You move, dodge and shoot while a four-card hand refills. Picking a card slows time so you can aim; once you release it, the fight resumes. Cards can work together: douse enemies with an Oil Flask before casting Fireball, freeze a crowd and follow with Heavy Strike, or bleed a boss and regain health from it.
