Grid puzzle planning

Deadhand is a PC puzzle game about planning a route through small grids that change after you commit to a plan. You queue instructions before anything moves, then run them in order: step, climb, leap, wait, push a crate, flip a switch, or use other available actions. The runner follows your instructions without further control from you.

After you commit, the level changes. The game tells you how many changes are coming and whether they affect timing, layout, or state, but not which object will change. A route that depends on everything staying exactly as planned can fail, so you need to leave room for surprises. Each attempt has one interrupt: stop the run, rewrite the remaining instructions, and continue, at a cost to your score.
