Game overview

Dead Extraction is a top-down pixel-art extraction survival game set in a Tokyo overrun by a devastating infection. Players enter hostile zones to search for weapons, equipment, and essential supplies, aiming to reach an extraction point alive. While exploring, players will face threats from infected swarms, armed scavengers, and elite private military contractors (PMCs). The game emphasizes strategy in navigating environments like ruined city streets, military facilities, and dangerous night zones.

Combat and survival

Combat is a key element, but survival also hinges on managing health, infection, stress, hunger, and hydration. Players must use cover, control firing angles, and carefully decide when to engage or retreat. Resources like ammunition and inventory space are limited, making every decision critical, as dying during an operation results in the loss of all carried items.
