DAWN CAR

Welcome to a Retro Racing Fantasy: DAWN CAR

DAWN CAR hurls players into a chaotic racing experience that draws inspiration from a surreal Pre-Pixel Age. Set in a vibrant world constructed entirely from 8×8 character graphics, the game pays homage to retro computing and a bygone era of gaming. This PC exclusive by HUGA, known for their quirky title The Girl from Gunma Kai, flips traditional racing mechanics on their head, propelling players downward in a retro-futuristic world that’s both nostalgic and exhilarating.

Embrace the Madness of Reverse Racing

In DAWN CAR, players defy the norms of velocity and direction as driving takes a remarkable twist. The screen scrolls downward endlessly, creating a shocking sense of speed that feels fresh, despite being rooted in the limitations of early programming. This unique mechanic gives a nod to the days when kids wrote BASIC racing games, diligently testing boundaries and discovering new gameplay possibilities. The downward flow results in thrilling races that emphasize skill and adaptability.
