An idle automation game

CYCLES is a PC idle game about operating a system that learns to run itself. You start by clicking to build up a number, then automate the clicks and the systems behind them. As automation takes over, your controls deactivate one by one. When the machine no longer needs you, you can break the cycle and wake up a layer higher to begin again, faster, with the machine remembering too.

Upgrades and repeats

Each run has a branching upgrade tree. Ten workers develop a second skill as you progress, and echo choices affect later cycles. Achievements act as a checklist of things to see. The narration changes with repetition, and the game points toward something to understand after enough cycles.
