Cutout

A Dark Fairytale: Cutout Unfolded

Cutout invites players to immerse themselves in a shadowy world where handcrafted characters and settings turn a simple tale into a complex narrative. With a blend of adventure and combat mechanics, this PC game weaves a story of loss, redemption, and a quest for belonging. Lena, a young girl made of paper, became the heart of this adventure after her forest withers under the cruel reign of a tyrant.

A World Built from Paper and Cardboard

Every element in Cutout is crafted from the imagination, utilizing everyday materials like cardboard, tin foil, and glue. From enemy designs to lush landscapes, the game creates a tactile universe that is both whimsical and dangerous. As you traverse the Learwood Forest, you'll find that appearances can be deceiving, its child-like aesthetic hides a deep sense of dread and despair, drawing players deeper into its narrative.
