Critical Fall is a physics-based precision-climbing game where players control various dice, referred to as polyhedrals. The premise revolves around these dice being locked in Dice Jail for rolling too many critical fails. To escape, they must navigate a large vertical maze by rolling, jumping, and tumbling to earn their freedom and return to the game table.

Mechanics of movement

In the game, you can control different types of dice, from D4s to D20s. The movement mechanics focus heavily on mastering the physics of these multi-sided shapes, which can behave differently based on their sides. Players need to learn how to manage momentum and execute precise jumps to climb higher within the maze.
