Crawler

A Dark Descent in Crawler

In Crawler, players find themselves trapped within the suffocating walls of an ancient castle. This short, modern retro-style dungeon crawler challenges you to confront your fears and navigate through pitch-black corridors. With limited light provided by torches, every moment spent exploring inches you closer to danger while echoing evil groans permeate the atmosphere. Your path is fraught with foes; how will you survive the lurking terror?

Shadows and Torches: The Core Mechanics

Navigating the dungeon hinges on your ability to manage limited resources. As you traverse the depths of the castle, torches play a crucial role in illuminating your surroundings. However, their flickering light only lasts so long, forcing players to act quickly and think strategically. Exploring each room means using your torch effectively, which can lead to both discovery and peril. This constant tension heightens the feeling of vulnerability and serves as a clever mechanic that shapes exploration.
