Game description

Community Kitchen Simulator: DayShift is a simulation game where you manage a neighborhood canteen in an unnamed European city. You start each day by shopping at a local corner shop, which offers a variety of ingredients at different prices, including some that are free. After purchasing your supplies, you move to the kitchen to prepare meals, balancing taste and nutrition based on what you have available.

Daily operations

You take care of the canteen by seating visitors and serving meals, which may come with meal tickets that allow for reimbursement from the town hall. Some customers arrive without tickets, leaving it to you to decide whether they get a meal. At the end of the day, you assess your performance with a summary that includes how many people you fed, how many you turned away, and the nutritional values of the meals you prepared.
