A society simulation

Civitas Rise is a PC social simulation about how a society develops within a simulated natural environment. You can take on roles such as farmer, builder, trader, or writer, while the people in a city shape its economic and political systems.

Work and trade

The economy starts with two basic ideas: labor and trade. From there, players establish systems of ownership, work relationships, economic organization, and social class. There’s no fixed currency. People can trade goods directly, and any commonly accepted item can serve as money.
