A Retro Horror Unearthed: CHWÆST

In CHWÆST: A Creeping Parasite Horror, players encounter a gripping retro 3D horror experience reminiscent of late-90s titles. Set inside a living organism, the game's design shifts the focus from traditional progression methods to a disturbing biological mechanic. Instead of unlocking doors with keys, your primary task is feeding the Biomass Core, the entity at the heart of your mission.

Biological Progression Mechanics

The game's core mechanic hinges on the interaction with the Biomass Core. As players collect items hidden within the dark and overgrown tunnels, they must return these offerings to the Core. When the Core is fed, overgrown pathways retract, revealing previously inaccessible areas. However, neglecting to feed it leaves players with blocked paths, making strategic choices crucial for advancing further into the maze-like structure.
