Chinese Childhood is a single-player PC game about a child’s everyday life in a fictional small town in central Anhui, China, around 1998. Choose a boy or girl, meet friends after school, play games and get a snack before heading home for dinner and returning to class the next day.

Marbles are a main activity: aim and choose how hard to flick, then practice or play for keeps, winning marbles or losing some of your own. You can also try paper planes, card games and other childhood pastimes. Join in when you want, then put things down when it’s time to go.
