Chief Endurance Officer

Game overview

Chief Endurance Officer is a semi-automatic wilderness survival game for PC that simulates a vacation while you work. Players spend eight hours at their office while their character proceeds through five full days in a simulated wilderness environment, making decisions during breaks about where to explore, how to reinforce their camp, and what tools to craft.

Gameplay mechanics

Players earn action points called "pins" based on their dinner from the previous night, which they can then use each morning to plan their day, allocating up to three pins for activities in the morning, midday, and afternoon. The game emphasizes real-world bushcraft knowledge: being familiar with materials and survival tactics will improve crafting and increase the chance of surviving various "surprise events."
