Roguelite chess strategy

Chesstria is a PC strategy game that changes chess with roguelite rules, items and effects. Before battles, you set up your pieces against the opponent’s layout, then manage your position and economy as you play. The usual chess tactics aren’t the whole calculation: consumables and artifacts can alter the board or give pieces new advantages.

Builds and board effects

You can choose from more than 10 single-use consumables and 40-plus passive artifacts. Effects include having two kings, removing tiles and converting enemy pieces. More than 20 player banners provide bonuses, which you can sacrifice when you need help. Between battles, promotions carry over, while pieces lost in battle are gone.
