Cheat Koi-Koi

Hanafuda gambling

Cheat Koi-Koi is a single-player roguelite about playing hanafuda against cheats in a nighttime gambling den. Match cards from the same month to collect scoring combinations called yaku. When you make a yaku, take the points or call koi-koi to keep playing for a stronger hand. If your opponent makes a yaku first, you get nothing for that round.

Each match runs for several rounds, with extra rounds to break a tie. You set the stakes before play, and points and fines affect your money after each round. Lose a match or run out of money and the run ends.
