CGA Trek

The Legacy of CGA Trek

CGA Trek channels the deep heritage of starship simulations and strategy games dating back to the 1970s. This homage pays tribute to the early "Trek" games, variations of which sparked a dedicated community of fans and developers. Revisiting the classic PC game, EGA Trek, CGA Trek shapes a nostalgic yet modern gameplay experience that shines brightly for enthusiasts of vintage gaming.

A Tribute to Classic Gameplay Mechanics

In CGA Trek, players can command their very own starship, navigating through the alpha quadrant represented as an 8x8 grid of 64 sectors. Each sector offers diverse locations to explore, including various starbases (general, research, and weapon depots) as well as planets that can be investigated through away missions. The fundamental systems, such as teletransmatporters, are true to their origins while providing a fresh approach to strategic gameplay.
