Carnival

Unraveling Venetian Secrets in Carnival

Carnival is a darkly atmospheric folk horror point-and-click adventure that plunges players into the depths of Venice’s eerie customs and hidden truths. Journalistic protagonist James Maynard sets off to cover an apparently straightforward story about a local bridge, only to unearth the unsettling symbolism bound in the city's veneer of pride. As historical tensions simmer under Mussolini's rule, players find themselves ensnared in the chaos of a city on the brink.

A Journey Through a Dark Narrative

In a world where the past and present intertwine, players must guide James as he grapples with narcolepsy, which complicates his perception and memory. This captivating mechanic introduces a constant sense of disorientation, leaving players to question what is real and what is merely a hallucination. The story’s intensity escalates as you navigate warped realities and sinister discoveries, engaging deeply with a narrative that blurs the line between folklore and concrete history.
