Caelovista

Astronomy sandbox

Caelovista is a PC astronomy sandbox for exploring celestial objects across space and time. You choose where to travel, from Earth and the Moon to planets orbiting distant stars and the Milky Way, and change your viewpoint to see how the sky looks from different places. You can search for objects by name and go straight to them, then orbit them to examine their appearance or follow their motion.

Views from other worlds

On worlds that support surface observation, choose a landing site and move across the terrain. From there, look toward the horizon and watch the sky overhead. You can wait in place for dawn or set the time yourself, seeing the Sun and stars pass as the hours change.
