Butterfly: Twisted Thread

Drawing through the world

Butterfly: Twisted Thread is a hand-drawn 2D Metroidvania for PC. You use a mystical butterfly to draw platforms, objects, and attack tools into the world, then explore interconnected areas and open new paths.

Puzzles and combat

Drawing also feeds into physics-based puzzles. You’ll use what you create to solve them, while fighting enemies with drawn attack tools. The game combines exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat around that drawing mechanic.
