BUG

An HR investigation

BUG is a psychological horror puzzle game for PC, set in a modern urban workplace. You play an HR manager at a tech company, assigned by your boss to investigate a missing employee. The inquiry changes when you infiltrate the employee’s computer and find a hidden world tied to the company.

The company’s hidden world

The game draws on Kafka’s The Metamorphosis, whose opening line inspired its premise. The missing employee’s absence is treated as a glitch in the company’s machinery, with the investigation uncovering crushing overtime, crippling anxiety, experimental drugs and psychological control. The deeper problem is a flaw within the system itself.
