Game premise and setting

Brightcurse is a cooperative bullet heaven roguelite set in Nordic lands where mythology is alive. Players take on the role of adventurers who battle against hordes of trolls and other mythical beings. The game features runs lasting approximately 20 minutes, where players must gather experience from defeated enemies to upgrade their characters and prepare for a challenging boss encounter.

Character selection and upgrades

In the game, you can choose from four different heroes, each with distinct abilities and unlockable tiers. As you progress through runs, you can gather experience points and upgrade your character to improve their strength and skills. The upgrades can be modified in various ways, allowing for different character builds in each run.
