Breeding Pit

Breeding orcs

Breeding Pit is a PC roguelite strategy RPG about raising an orc army to attack the Bright Realms. You pair orcs and choose which offspring to keep, balancing inherited genes that can change how they fight. The game tracks dominant, recessive and chimeric genes, including traits an orc carries without showing. Before a pairing, you can check the odds for each gene.

There are more than 130 genes, and they can change the rules of battle rather than simply raise stats. Some whelps inherit a gene neither parent had: an Omen that can start a bloodline carried by its descendants. You name each whelp when it hatches, then follow its history from the pit to the front.
