Rhythm-driven beat ’em up

BoteK.O. is a rhythm-driven beat ’em up set around a neighborhood bar. You and your crew run the bar and play in a band that takes on enemies with music and fists. Each character has an instrument, and attacks only connect when you hit the beat. Miss the timing and the song falls apart; land the rhythm and your part joins the live mix.

Instruments and combat

Vocals, guitar, bass, drums, keytar and claps each have their own line in the song. That means the drummer and bassist attack to different rhythms, while the band builds the track together as you fight through enemies. Combat also includes blocking and parrying, with a parry timed to an enemy’s strike.
