Bleeding Metal Rainbow

A Cautionary Note About Bleeding Metal Rainbow

Bleeding Metal Rainbow is a shoot 'em up that arrives with a stark warning: flashing images may trigger epileptic seizures. This safety note underscores the intensity of its gameplay, which commands focus and agility. This is more than a mere game; it’s also a personal tale spun by ex-developer Travis, who published this unfinished product to reclaim his vision before it could be manipulated by his former employer.

The Backstory of Creation and Conflict

What sets Bleeding Metal Rainbow apart is its origin story. After thirteen years at Shovel Software, Travis pitched a project that received enthusiastic backing but was abruptly terminated two weeks later. To prevent the company from reworking his vision, he decided to release only the final level he had completed. The narrative threaded through this game is as compelling as its gameplay, reflecting Travis’s determination to reclaim his artistry amidst corporate strife.
