BlastBeacon

Minesweeper on foot

BlastBeacon is a PC Minesweeper game where you stand on the board and dig blocks with a pickaxe. Each number shows how many bombs are in the eight surrounding tiles. Dig a bomb and the game ends; flag blocks you think contain bombs, and clear every block that doesn’t contain one to win.

Every Classic difficulty preset can be solved with logic, without a 50/50 guess at the end. A hand-drawn map marks the blocks you’ve dug, but you have to write down the numbers and bombs yourself.
