Build the colony
Beware of Ants is a PC colony-building game about a worker ant in a formicarium on a homeowner’s desk. You gather food, grow the colony and move the queen from nest to nest, eventually robbing the house and reaching the persimmon tree outside without being caught.
Most of the work starts with a piece of food. Bite off part of a sugar cube, then hold the trail key as you walk home; other ants follow your pheromone trail to carry back the rest. Food produces eggs, and eggs hatch into workers. The colony can grow to 335 ants. When you call, nearby ants stop what they’re doing and follow you.
