Before the Silence Claims: In Absentia

The Haunting Atmosphere of Before the Silence Claims: In Absentia

Before the Silence Claims: In Absentia envelops players in a chilling atmospheric horror experience set against the backdrop of a decaying mansion in 1984 East Berlin. You step into the shoes of Anton Bormann, an elderly scientist haunted by the shadows of the past. As memory slips away, the tension of your surroundings plunges you into a world where reality is fragile, and each moment carries the weight of inevitable terror.

The Distortion of Memory and Reality

In this psychological horror world, your journey centers around Ecmnesia, a cognitive failure that distorts time, merging present fears with past traumas. As Anton navigates the grim streets of Eisenschall in 1930, players confront a narrative that is layered with guilt and regret. The game forces you to grapple with questions of morality and the consequences of your actions, offering a reflective approach to horror that unfolds at a deliberate pace.
