A demon lord in Hell
Baleful Tactics is a single-player roguelike auto-battler for PC. You play as a demon lord who recruits famous dead champions and uses a boy’s soul to travel between the circles of Dante’s Hell. The roster includes Cleopatra, King Leonidas, Achilles, Caesar and Ragnar Lodbrok, among more than 65 others.
Champions and sacrifice
Build your team with traits, items and star-ups, up to a maximum of three stars per champion. Champions talk back and remember how you treated them. When one dies, they take a wound that lowers their maximum health until you treat it. Too many wounds and they’re gone for the run, so you have to weigh who you can afford to lose.
