Rediscovering Survival Horror in Back in 1995

In Back in 1995 for the Xbox One, players find themselves plunged into a world that captures the unresolved tension and atmospheric dread of mid-90s survival horror. This game serves not just as a tribute but as a time capsule, preserving the essence of an era overshadowed by modern gaming advances. As the story unfolds, you will explore the haunting landscape while unraveling the fate of your missing daughter amidst a city's dark secrets.

Nostalgia Wrapped in Retro Graphics

The retro 3D graphics in Back in 1995 bring players back to a time filled with low-resolution models and texture warping. Each visual element intentionally evokes memories of the 32-bit generation, transporting players straight into a world of fixed CCTV-style camera angles. The aesthetic is enhanced by CRT emulation, crafting an experience that is dense with nostalgia and just a hint of discomfort, perfectly suited to its genre.
