Back in Time with Back in 1995

Step back into the shadows of gaming history with Back in 1995, a homage to the survival horror games that blossomed during the original PlayStation era. This indie title weaves a tale steeped in nostalgia, allowing players to explore an uncanny world that evokes the charm and dread of a bygone era. Unravel the mystery surrounding your daughter’s disappearance as you uncover the dark secrets of a desolate city.

Retro Aesthetic that Captures an Era

Visuals are pivotal to Back in 1995, embracing an outdated aesthetic with low-res models, texture warping, and CRT-style emulation effects. This distinct retro style not only pays tribute to the games that paved the way but also sets an eerie atmosphere that enhances the story's depth. The use of fixed CCTV-style camera angles adds to the tension, forcing players to adapt their approach with each eerie corner turned.
