B-17 Flying Fortress: World War II Bombers in Action

History Revisited: B-17 Flying Fortress

B-17 Flying Fortress: World War II Bombers in Action takes players back to the turbulent skies of the Second World War. Originally released in 1992, this PC simulation game tasks you with leading a crew on perilous bombing missions over Nazi-occupied Europe. It’s not just about flying; it’s about managing a ten-man crew through intense air battles, making decisions that could mean the difference between glory and defeat.

Mission Command: Your Crew at the Helm

In this classic, you’re not just the pilot; you’re the commander of an ensemble of skilled airmen. You’ll choose from a roster of ten crew members, each with a unique history and set of skills. As their leader, you'll allocate roles based on their past missions, promotions, and medals. Strategy matters. Will you assign experienced gunners to fend off enemy fighters, or task your best bombers with destroying strategic targets?
