Azalea is a real-time strategy game set during the Imjin War, featuring a three-way conflict between the Joseon, Ming, and Japanese factions. Players engage in matches with up to eight participants, either in free-for-all or team formats. The game uses traditional ink-wash art for its visuals, providing a distinct aesthetic.

Player engagement and match structure

Matches in the game typically last between 10 to 30 minutes. You'll need to make strategic decisions about alliances and enemy targets, as the interactions between the three factions create varying power dynamics each time you play. If you don't have enough human players, the game allows you to fill in with AI opponents to maintain the match's intensity.
