Awaiting Orders: Machi is a PC mission game about directing a rookie AI agent from headquarters. You’re the veteran operator; Machi is out in the field. You speak orders into your microphone, and Machi responds aloud. You can see the situation, while Machi can interact with it, so the missions are completed through instructions rather than direct control.

There are 15 missions, with tasks including bomb defusal, infiltration, conversations and escapes. For a bomb, Machi reads out wire colors and a display word, and you check the details against your manual before telling Machi what to do. Machi asks for confirmation before cutting. During infiltration, you switch between security cameras, watch guard patrols and direct Machi between cover.
