Game type and premise

Atelier's Key is a dark-fantasy first-person shooter set in a Victorian world filled with puppets. Players control a puppet, the latest growth from a large tree, as they navigate a corrupt environment influenced by a central deity known as "The Carver."

Gameplay mechanics

Players use a mix of shooting, grappling, and unlocking mechanics to traverse the world. You are armed with a mysterious weapon that allows you to confront various foes and engage with the environment in a meaningful way. The gameplay focuses on combat and exploration as you attempt to save a Father from his own creations.
