Ashes of the Swarm

Chain-reaction puzzles

Ashes of the Swarm is an open-ended puzzle game set in the western frontier. You play as Piper Fimbra, a retired praying mantis and former telegraph operator, called back to defend the mining town of Sulphur Springs from marauding insects known as the Minstrels. Each puzzle asks you to place and align insects armed with dynamite, setting off chain reactions to destroy the enemy.

There’s no single solution to a level. You’ll manage a limited supply of gold, aim for large combo counts, and avoid blowing up the increasingly annoyed bugs’ homes.
