ASH OF WAR

ASH OF WAR: A Deep Dive into Development Struggles

ASH OF WAR is a 2D indie game that carries the weight of its creators' passion and setbacks. Inspired by melancholic narratives from other games, it aims to tell a story steeped in war history. The journey from concept to execution has been a rollercoaster of creativity, enthusiasm, and unexpected challenges, driven by the desire to craft something both meaningful and entertaining.

The Genesis of an Idea: From Inspiration to Creation

The game's conception began after a profound experience with another emotionally charged title focused on World War themes. The CEO of ASH OF WAR realized there was more to say, spurring a call to arms among friends and like-minded enthusiasts. The seeds of the project were sown in a brainstorming session among a small group, seeking to avoid clichés and instead encapsulate a raw narrative within the gaming medium.
