ARIDA: Backland's Awakening

Surviving the Drought in Arida: Backlands Awakening

Arida: Backlands Awakening plunges players into a harsh but captivating world of survival and adventure set in the Brazilian backlands during the nineteenth century. As Cícera, a young girl facing the dire consequences of severe drought, players will rely on resourcefulness and the wisdom of their village elders to navigate the arid landscape. Each step reveals a story of resilience amid adversity, compelling players to overcome both physical and emotional challenges.

Resource Management and Crafting Essentials

To survive in ÁRIDA, players must gather essential resources like water and food. The game requires the use of tools such as a machete and a hoe to perform critical actions, whether it’s cutting crops or clearing paths. Keeping equipment in optimal condition is crucial; dull tools are ineffective. Managing these resources not only influences survival but also affects the ability to explore further reaches of the land.
