Unearthing Ordinary Life in Amelia

Set in the summer of 2000, Amelia transports players to a seemingly ordinary rural farmhouse. This PC game invites you to delve into the life of a young girl through a first-person narrative structured over 13 consecutive days. Here, the mundane appears heavy with meaning, as you engage with everyday chores and the subtleties of family life. The ordinary soon twists into something far more complex.

Discovering Layers of Storytelling

Focused on themes like alcoholism and domestic violence, Amelia challenges players to listen closely. The narrative unfolds not through grand events but through the small, often overlooked moments of family interactions. As you observe conversations, you begin to grasp what lies beneath the surface. Choices made by family members can carry tremendous weight, echoing through the seemingly tranquil setting.
