Alien Prospectors

Prospecting on an alien planet

Alien Prospectors is a PC multiplayer mining survival game about working for the Planetary Mining Group. You leave headquarters to scan and drill for things to sell, then try to get back before your oxygen runs out. The farther you travel, the thinner the air gets, so a profitable haul can also mean a harder trip home.

Everyone digs from the same underground map. Deposits sit across five layers, with rarer finds deeper down. Your scanner reveals what’s beneath you, while your drill determines how deep you can mine. The more than 1,000 possible finds range from dirt and gravel to ores, crystals, fossils, trapped gases, lost equipment and ancient relics. Some finds are harder to explain, including a fossilized sandwich.
