ALBATROSS

A harpoon-run side-scroller

ALBATROSS is a hand-drawn side-scroller for PC about sailing alone through a sunken world while a giant leviathan pursues you. You keep your boat moving by catching fish with a harpoon and feeding them to its bio-engine. If the engine’s power drops too low, the leviathan draws closer.

Keeping the boat running

You can also catch floating debris with your harpoon and gather scrap metal to repair holes in the boat. The harpoon serves as a weapon too, for fighting off dangerous creatures. These tasks compete for your attention as you work to keep the boat moving and stay ahead of the leviathan.
