A ruined Earth

Aftermyth is a turn-based world-conquest strategy game for PC, set on an Earth where cities lie in rubble and machines have stopped working. The honored dead answer the surviving warlords: spirits of history and myth sponsor factions that revere them. You choose a small faction in one of thirteen regions, unify its homeland, then fight rivals for control of the world.

Heroes and patrons

There are 253 heroes, each leading a unit. Every hero has a legendary patron, such as King Arthur, Hannibal or Odin, and develops along two paths. Fighting in a patron’s style earns Devotion, which unlocks that patron’s skill tree. A separate Star Track follows the hero’s own story to a signature ability. Changing a hero’s patron changes their build.
