A multiplayer RPG in a shared world

Adventures Online is a free-to-play multiplayer role-playing game for PC, set in a persistent world shared with other players. You create a hero by choosing from six races and six classes, then explore, fight monsters, craft items, and visit dungeons.

Hex-grid combat

Battles are turn-based and played on a hex grid. Spells and abilities matter, but so do your position and the terrain around you; combat isn’t based on character stats alone. The game has six races: Human, Elf, Dwarf, Orc, Halfling, and Gnome. Its six classes are Fighter, Warden, Thief, Ranger, Paladin, and Wizard. Each race can be paired with each class.
