Game premise and core mechanics

Abyss Floors is a dark-fantasy semi-idle MMORPG focused on engineering combat rather than direct fighting. Players create their character by choosing weapons, builds, gear, hunting grounds, and clan affiliations. Progression occurs over long periods, with levels and rewards emerging from a live, automated combat system that runs tick by tick, allowing characters to advance even while offline.

Combat and progression

Combat is automated and displayed through a live, color-coded log that shows hits, crits, dodges, and more. You select suitable hunting grounds, let your character grind for experience and loot, and weigh decisions involving gear upgrades and enchantments. The game features no level cap, with costs and risks serving as barriers to progression rather than traditional levels.
