First-person lawn care

18 Summers is a first-person lawn care game for PC, set in one suburban backyard. You mow the grass, trim edges, pull weeds, water dead patches and clear clutter. There’s no timer, score, money, upgrade tree or failure condition, and the lawn stays as you left it when you stop.

Mowing and tools

The mower has weight and pulls as you push it, while quick turns make it drift. Its deck leaves a cut line behind you, and the goal is to work across the yard for an even finish. A weedwacker handles fence lines and corners the mower can’t reach. You can pull weeds by hand, and pulled weeds stay gone. The garden hose has three spray modes for watering brown patches back to green; you can switch tools with the tool wheel.
