X-Plane 11 - Add-on: Aerosoft - Airport Kassel

Airport Kassel Calden Awaits in X-Plane 11

X-Plane 11 is enhanced by the addition of Aerosoft’s Airport Kassel, offering flight simulation enthusiasts a realistic experience of Kassel-Calden Airport. Opened in 2013, this modern facility is located just northwest of Kassel city. Its unique design challenges pilots with landing scenarios on its inclined runway 09, making it an exciting destination for virtual aviators looking to test their skills.

Realistic Runway Challenges for Pilots

Pilots will find the runway characteristics particularly engaging. The CAT IIIb approach on runway 27 provides a robust technological experience, while the inclined runway 09 requires adept flying skills. Thanks to X-Plane 11's advanced technology, these features are accurately rendered, allowing players to replicate authentic landing techniques. The simulation captures the essence of real-world aviation challenges.
